Soft Body Simulations
Soft body animation uses physics simulations which is crucial for creating realistic simulations in 3D. I learned about soft body simulations through an online course, which was instrumental in this project.
The first simulation involves a coke can being crushed by a robotic machine, utilizing soft body simulations to crumple the geometric faces realistically. In the Tetris game simulation, soft body physics give the bricks a bubbly feel as they fall from a height and settle on the ground. Finally, in the animation featuring a falling ball interacting with obstacles, soft body simulations provide a wobbly effect, allowing the ball to fall naturally with realistic gravity.
