Giant Leap On Red Planet

Creating a base on Mars has been a longstanding aspiration of space agencies worldwide. Extensive research has been conducted, resulting in numerous concepts and designs for Martian bases. This artwork draws inspiration from those designs and has been crafted using 3D software. The art process offered me valuable insights into navigating the unique atmospheres of other planets and handling the distinct textures of their surfaces. Through this project, I gained a deeper appreciation for the complexities of extraterrestrial environments and their potential for human exploration.

I have designed a Martian base featuring 5 to 6 rooms, including a main entrance room. The scene is populated with variously sized rocks to create a realistic Martian landscape. A spaceship is depicted parked in the hangar, ready for astronauts to step foot onto the Martian soil.
